The Dad Brigade
Brandy is a young girl being trained under the protection of a group of highly skilled mercenaries. Among these mercenaries are the assassin, Crucible Jack, the marksman, Jean d’Arblast, and the warlock, Hergin Pride. Dale O’Dawn, a noble knight, tries to keep them in order, to little avail. Together, the men must put aside their differences to raise Brandy into a warrior fit to stop the apocalypse.
Dreamrise
The setting is the year 2515, when most of the solar system has already been colonized and terraformed. A motley ensemble cast must work to fight things like Magic Terrorists, Corrupted viruses from alternate timelines, and EMOTIONS.

However, as simple treasure hunt turns into treacherous cross-country journey, Sedo gets the sinking feeling he is being hunted… and more importantly, underpaid.

Well… Here you have some new images of Alherani! I’m working on her side story for the SpiderForest Anthology and it’s going smoothly.

Ok *deep breathe*
This is a hard decision for me but my health + real life absorbed all the time I had for updating the comic. Read here for more info about my current status.
And I tried -oh yes!- so hard to keep updating. But time flies and I cannot finish the pages on time. And the anxiety of this plus the exams and courses and the need of study for getting my dream job is just… so much. And I don’t want to fail again.
So, MoonSlayer will be going on hiatus until September!
I know that the story will have the ‘climax’ in this chapter end, but :/ Oh, I want to make it great, with the quality and love it deserves.
Feel free to send your fanarts or pretty words meanwhile!
Also, from now until our return, patrons will have the pages as soon as they’re made from the 1$ tier!
I’ll post some sneak peeks from my contribution to the SpiderForest Anthology (Alherani’s backstory), the printed version of MS v1 (I want to finish it this summer). And more things, like updating the lore section, publishing some short stories about the characters…

Hi everyone!
Today is no-update day again (sorry, exams!) But I’m working on the next 4 pages. Hmm… maybe I should do some sort of MS-bomb when I finish them?
Meanwhile, here you have a new Syrma sketch!
When I have time I like to try new materials and I always wanted to test this style with brown paper.
Note that I’m open to receive fanart for my non-updating weeks!

MS Vol1 Color Proof!
Also I’ve received a color proof of the first volume. This makes me wonder how great it would look if I ever do a KS for MoonSlayer. Because I’d go fullcolor with it.
But for the moment I’ll stick with the B&W version. The grayscale pages look wonderful this way. And the color pages are ok! I have to investigate now the B&W + Special pages in color. I’ve found a printer with that option 😀

Happy Holidays everyone! Here is Henna ready for the festivities.
I did this one last year, but I forgot to post it D:
In MoonSlayer’s world they celebrate the Winter Solstice too. Alfar and Sidhe celebrations are quite similar to Yule (so expect holly and mistletoe) while Grey Dragons celebrate something like Sol Invictus aka Unconquered Sun.
OMG, look at this image of Sol Invictus, he even had 2 horses, like the Arundar Mold. The human world is wonderfully interconnected.
Secret Santa
We did an amazing Secret Santa on SpiderForest, too. I got Bruno Harm as my recipient.
While Sons of the Forgotten was my Secret Santa. My gift was -OMFG- awesome! Erric and Syrma fighting together against snow golems, treants and goblins, so much fun in the same pic!

And finally, I managed to post our first Playlist! (the previous one was on grooveshark, pff) It’s inspired by the comic events and characters.

Last week I received the proof copy of the test edition of vol1, but some health issues (I was literally agonizing last Monday, those who follow me on twitter know it) and the sudden death of my main computer (currently trying to restore it) kept me from posting it here.
The good news: It looks fantastic. Only a few tones of gray fail in some pages (mainly Alherani’s cloak in night scenes and looks like a printing error) but the overall impression is 8/10. I cannot expect more from Createspace, really. In another world, or another time, if I had enough people interested in a book I could try to do a KS campaign. But I think it’s not the case. Maybe for the complete story?
The size is A5, it has +160pages. So it’s big and pretty.
Anyway, I hope to have the first volume finished next year. I only have to complete the extra stories (Lalaii’s tree got lost and I had it already pencilled) and fix the English version (hey, looking for beta testers!)
And that’s all.
Next week page is finished, my patrons can read it now 😀

Finally I got a bit of time to work on my part of the SpiderForest traveling sketchbook. Such an amazing project!
Made with brush markers, chinese ink (lines and first wash in greys) and Sakura markers (greys) over a mechanical pencil sketch. This one could be considered my last #Inktober of this year.

MoonSlayer was reviewed by the lovely cast of the comic My Hero. Check it out!
I only have to say to Lark that my Elven-to-Common translation skills are improving, but my Elven is nearly perfect :_D Also that Syrma wants to punch him in the face XD While Menkar suggested a duel with bare hands.
And I hope to please Hasera in the current chapter. I’ll try to do my best.
